Mini-stories
The first of our Playscope Mini-stories - The Story of the Loofah, is now available. The set consists of:
- three full length deflated loofahs, ready for you to inflate - enough for over 30 children
- lots of interesting facts and photos, including where Loofah actually grow, what they are used for and whether they can be eaten, and
- 19 new activities that can be played with the Loofah, all linked to the EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2.
Great for linking to topics on water, nature, other cultures, science, maths, and for developing language, etc. the activities encourage exploration, problem-solving, creativity and experimentation.
Launched at the Early Years Show and Special Needs North in Manchester, The Story of the Loofah was particularly well received by teaching universities and colleges, several of which were eager to use these in the teacher training courses.
