Playscope Treasure Baskets are filled with tactile treasures mainly made from natural materials and found household objects which our children have added to. It has encouraged our children to explore the world around them using all of their senses, promoting curiosity and self discovery. We find the basket very versatile covering development in so many key areas.
We have used the Playscope basket with SEN children in all key stages for speech and language, story telling, sorting, memory games, it begins with.. letter sounds and children of all ages can access learning through the treasure basket. I would recommend this product.

Inspirational. Thankyou. We are going to go away and make our own treasure baskets now.
Primary School teacher visiting our stand at the Education Show
When we picked up the bag and opened it up and saw all of the objects we were really excited. I will use these resources with all our children - we have children aged 7 to 19 years.
Kelly Anne Thornton, Trainee Play Therapist, Sunfield Training and Residential School for children with autism
The early years are enjoying using the basket of goodies and the staff are being very creative in using the equipment for speaking and listening, story telling, sorting, counting, comparing materials, textures and shapes and sizes. and the children are coming up with their own games and activities too. We have not even looked at the cards yet! The children are bringing in bits from home to add to the collection. A fantastic resource, the children love the basket of treasures. It has made them very aware of objects in their homes and outdoors. Thank you.

Great idea beautifully made. I love the idea of children exploring real objects. Gets them back to basics.

You have put things in the basket that I wouldn’t have thought of putting in.
